My parents left us some bad genes. Diabetes is hereditary for all members of my family and we have all suffered from the disease.

My brothers have had strokes, we all have to live diabetic lifestyles, with the various side effects and the suffering, and have to keep a close daily track of our medical condition.

I suffered particularly from itching feet, which with time became more severe and troublesome.

I desperately looked for a solution that would make my life easier. I bought every device I could find, every device or patent that might help me massage my feet and bring relief from the itching sensation.

Starting Point: No solution in the Market

About two years ago, on a day when I was feeling particularly bad, I took a taxi to a large shop on Dizengoff Street, where I found a device designed to give foot massages.

“That’s what I want,” I said.
“We don’t have one now,” the salesman said, “that’s the display model.”
“I don’t care,” I said.

The device was large, expensive and heavy, I handed the salesman the money, grabbed the device, and ran out.

The device was very heavy, but my distress gave me unprecedented strength. Despite my effort and expectation, however, when I got home I found the device a disappointment.

I tried to use it several times, but my feet found no rest, and the itchiness continued unabated. That was my breaking point. I decided to help myself – by my own efforts.

One thing that did help, to a certain extent, was a small vibrating back massager. I started to think of a way; what would help me and provide relief?
