From inception, SANLAKOL based its marketing strategy on expansion, both on the local and export markets, through constant product and technological innovation and customer service.
Current markets extend throughout the world, with SANLAKOL maintaining a reputation for excellence in product and service. Today, the president Mr. Jacob Schonfeld, the son of the founder and himself a food engineer, ensures continuity of the company's goals and philosophy.
In 1998, SANLAKOL merged with YAKHIN Industries, a well known producer of fruit juices, drinks, cocktails and concentrated syrups. The YAKHIN plant closed down and all the production lines have been moved to SANLAKOL's plant in Afula. Since the merger of YAKHIN with SANLAKOL, YAKHIN has become the strongest brand name in Israel.
Primary markets for SANLAKOL's export products are in the UK and the USA. Additional markets include Japan, Germany, Holland, F rance, Canada and a number of secondary markets.The customers of SANLAKOL in the UK. include the leading retail chains of Sainsbury, Tesco, Somerfield and Safeway. Customers in the USA include Topco, Kroger, Safeway and numerous other food service organizations, Food Brokers and private label brands. In its main export product line, namely Citrus Segments, SANLAKOL maintains a market share in excess of 50% of total Israeli exports of this product.

Products
The Sanlakol Company manufactures and markets three brands that it owns: Yachin, Pri-Mevorach and Pri-Ze. In addition, Sanlakol manufactures private brands for leading customers in Israel: Leader Price, Premier Club, Super Class, Pri Hagolan, Abba Victory, Marmolite. And abroad Sainsbury, Safeway, Topco, Somerfield, Sst. Mamet, Princess. The Company has product development capabilities in accordance with large customers' demands, and in addition, high standards for its brands. The Company's brands are leaders in the local market,
and the development of the products for each brand, is carried out in accordance with market analysis and the concept of the consumers' demands.
